At Jaguar´s they don´t want to increase tension. This prototype of the new and improved Jaguar XK Coupé was seen very near by the British Jaguar factory. And according to the photos of CarMagazine we can take a very good look at the Jag.
This summer the Jaguar XK was already digitally captured by a spy photographer. On those photos was to be seen that the Jag was undergoing a thorough facelift. Now all camouflage has been removed and a photographer stood face to face with a production ready copy. We see a changed front bumper with vertical air inlets under the head lights, new aluminium wheels and a changed rear bumper. De tail lights will be issued with LED techniques and the ugly antenna is replaced by a more modern copy.
What about the engine? Will that diesel also be available? The 4.2 liter V8 engine will probably be replaced by a new 5.0 liter V8. At the same time the brand new 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine will make its entrance in the XK. That should make Jaguar able to meet competition (BMW 6 series). Both the Coupé and the Convertible will be given this facelift.
