The new Subaru Impreza is ready for take off! This revealing and production-ready prototype was spotted during a short test drive in the U.S. The official presentation is planned for the IAA in Frankfurt in mid-September.
Actually, the new Subaru Impreza is already official so this scoop isn’t a revelation scoop. However, only one photo (from the side) has been given of the new Impreza during the digital revealing and here we get all sides to see.
More of the same "Is he new?" Yes, claims Subaru. The new Impreza may seem exactly the same to the current model, de Japanese say he would be more spacious and comfortable. Hard, sporty versions (WRX, STi) will also come, of course, with capacity between 230 and 300 hp. Less potent versions will be available with petrol engines delivering 110 and 150 hp and a 150-hp turbodiesel, but will also significantly more economical.
