The Audi Q6 has not even been officially announced yet, but is already testing on public roads in the form of an extended Q5. So it’s official! The development stage is still very young, so expect a launch not sooner than the end of 2013.
The Audi Q6 (working title) must compete the BMW X6 which now rules the class of socalled Sport Utility Coupes. With the Q in the name the new Audi naturally will be quattro driven. The engine range will be very similar to that of the Q7. Expect only the biggest engines, because the Q6 will be positioned high in the market. And as for the design of the vehicle: that's the only thing that might come as a surprise...
