BMW is showing off with an M version of the X5 series. The X5M - official name- was already seen in december last year, but then no one wanted to confirm its entrance. Officially confirmed nowadays, BMW sends out a bright red prototype.
Spyshots of last december indicate a black X5M that through its colour did not show much details. The official BMW spy video also showed little detail. This bright red prototype shows again little detail. The car was spotted on a parking place in the United States and therefor made it possible to digitally catch all necessary details.
Impressive power
The X5M will be empowered by a V8 twin turbo. Indeed, the same engine that will drive the X6M. Its power is undoubtedly impressive (about 500 bhp) and competitors such as the Mercedes ML 63 AMG meet a new 'foe'. This year though, the X5M will be at dealers.
