A new Hyundai Genesis sedan is under construction, so is a facelifted Genesis Coupe. De sports car will only subtly refreshed and also below the long bonnet we expect little news.
Together with the Genesis sedan, Hyundai will give the Genesis Coupe a facelift for the 2012 model year. Exterior updates will include new headlights and foglights. A redesigned lower fascia with new chrome trim under the headlights is also visible along with a new grille. In back we can see a new pair of sleek looking taillights.
The bigger news is the all-new 5.0-litre, V8 motor under the hood. Hyundai's powerful engine option won't be supercharged but, as confirmed by Hyundai, naturally aspirated and pumping out 429 horsepower! The Korean automaker is anticipating a two per cent increase in fuel economy, as well as better acceleration and overall handling from the new V8.
