Seat Arosa, Skoda Joyster and Volkswagen Up!

Seat Arosa, Skoda Joyster and Volkswagen Up!

Wednesday September 15 2010 - Kim

That´s right – we caught prototypes of all three brands: Volkswagen´s Up! and it´s very close cousins from Skoda – likely to be named Joyster, and Seat´s mini version as well – probably named the Arosa!

We believe this is the first time all three prototypes have been spied, and we were lucky to catch – and identify – all! Even with camouflage, the front end styling of all three versions make them all very easy to identify, although the back of all the prototypes are all camouflaged identically.

2013
European sales are expected to start in about a year, although it is still unclear as to if Volkswagen will bring their newest mini-sized coupe to the States. If it does arrive here, it probably won't be until sometime in 2013. About a year after the Up!, Seat and Skoda versions are launched in Europe, electric versions of all will be offered.
