At the moment Peugeot tries to make its 7 seater 2008, also 3008 SW, production ready. The way the 5 seater variant looks like, that we already know, due to the various spyshots of it.
This prototype is nothing more than a extended 3008. Peugeot did so, to squeeze in two more seats in the car. A direct competitor is the Nissan Quashqai+2 that also has 7 seats.
Tested in the cold
The prototype is just in the beginning of its testphase. At this moment it is being tested thoroughly in the cold of north Sweden. The 3008 will be officially presented to the public at the Geneva Autosalon. Official market introduction of the 7 seater is still not known. It probably will be somewhat later than its younger brother.
