The class of 2+2 coupes is growing. After the Mazda RX-8 and most recently the Velostar from Hyundai, Opel will soon launch the GTC. And of course the best version of that 3-door Astra is the OPC. Here are the latest images.

The Opel Astra GTC OPC - quite a mouthful - is at least a car to look forward to. Apart from its appetizing appearance with those thick bumpers around and large wheels, the X-factor of the GTC OPC is the powerful engine. We expect a 300 hp 2.0-litre turbo gasoline engine. With such potential it will be a good battle between the Opel, the Scirocco R and the Renault Megane RS. Because yes, those are surely the most formidable rivals of the Astra GTC OPC.
