A lot of new models are planned at BMW the next few years. At short notice we can expect the X1, X5 and X6M, the X6 Hybrid en the 5 eries GT (PAS). But also the new 5 series and the new X3 are planned. In 2011 BMW have planned to present a complete new 1 series.
First signs of life of the new 1 series, which is being developed under the name F20, is to be seen at these spyshots. Collegeaes of British Car Magazine did manage to capture a mule of the new 1 series. About its final appearance is still nothing to say, but about the engines and techniques Car Magazine did manage to secure more detials.

As well as current 1 series, the new kid on the block will be available with a four and six cilinder engine. A rather striking new engine will be the 1.3 liter turbo engine which will be more or less standard in the 116i and the 118i, with respectively 136 and 184 bhp. Besides the two mentioned one can also later on choose a a 120i (218 bhp) or a 130i (272 bhp). The next diesel engines will be available, 118d (150 bhp), 120d (184 bhp) and the 123d (211 bhp). All three engines are 2.0 liter four cilinder engines. As mentioned before the new 1 series (F20) will appear at dealers in 2011.
