Jaguar has finished its performance-sedan XF-R. Next week the car wil officially be introduced at the NAIAS in Detroit, but the British are still testing the XF-R. This bright red XF-R was encountered in the surroundings of the Jaguar works. Together with last summer´s photographs it shows a very good image of its final looks and appearance.
With an over 500 bhp strong V8 the XF-R will meet its (mainly German) competitors. Power is transferred to the rear wheels and the XF-R should accomplish acceleration 0-100 kmph within 5 seconds.
Awesome, but subtile The appereance of the XF is a perfect platform for a more powerful R-version. Despite a lot of camouflage we are able to see the very sportive details. The front bumper and bonnet has larger air inlets and its grille is executed in typical R-design. Big aluminium wheels, subtile rear spoiler, extra sharp side skirts and four awesome exhaust pipes underline its potential. Jaguar seems to be ready to rumble.
