Caught undergoing testing near the Nürburgring, the heavily camouflaged prototype looks virtually identical to the Toyota FT-86 but is distinguished by a revised front bumper and LED daytime running lights. Motivation is expected to be provided by a 2.0-liter boxer engine with approximately 200 hp (149 kW /203 PS). It will be connected to a six-speed transmission which sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. A BRZ concept could debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, before the production model is unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show later this year.
