Mercedes has started their extensive test program of the new S-Class (W222). These spyshots show us the very first mule which proves the start of the tests on public roads.
We have to admit that we had some doubt when we saw this prototype. Is it a production model of the new S-Class or just a mule? Well, it is a mix of both. The car is wearing much elements of the current S-Class with elements from the new model. You can see a heavily camouflaged front and a strange rear. But the fact is, this is the new S-Class.
