If you thought the end of the American GM-brand “Saturn” would only affect car buyers in America, think again! The Opel Antara on the roads today has shared a body and interior with its American brother, the Saturn Vue. Now that the Vue is going away, the Antara needs a new body double.
Judging from our spy photos, it appears GM will give Opel a version of the Chevrolet Captiva, another U.S.-brother. The new Opel grill is easy to see though the camouflage on this prototype, along with some impressive looking projector headlights and flashers in the side mirrors. A chrome ringed, lower grill opening can also be seen. Watch for the facelifted Antara to go on sale in the first half of 2010.
