The 599 GTB is known as a great sports car, but since the launch of the Aventador people look more towards Lamborghini. A thorn in the eye of Ferrari of course, and so the brand with the prancing horse work hard on a successor to the 599.
The new Ferrari will likely be called F620 and will get, according to insiders, the same amount of power (700 hp) as has biggest rival the Avantador LP700-4 from Lamborghini. The V12-engine comes from the Ferrari FF, but unlike that car the F620 will get rear-wheel drive. “4WD is not pure enough for the type of cars”, said Ferrari. These are the better decisions, though we still have to wait and see what the actual result will look like. End of 2012 is the day.
