Facelifted Hyundai Genesis Coupe spied on Nurburgring

Hyundai is aiming high. They are testing the refreshed Genesis Coupe even at the Nurburgring. For a car that was initially not for Europe a noble endeavor. The image booster from Hyundai should probably be more European than ever before!
Together with the Genesis sedan, Hyundai will give the Genesis Coupe a facelift for the 2012 model year. Exterior updates will include new headlights and foglights. A redesigned lower fascia with new chrome trim under the headlights is also visible along with a new grille. In back we can see a new pair of sleek looking taillights.
V8!
The bigger news is the all-new 5.0-litre, V8 motor under the hood. Hyundai's powerful engine option won't be supercharged but, as confirmed by Hyundai, naturally aspirated and pumping out 429 horsepower! The Korean automaker is anticipating a 2 per cent increase in fuel economy, as well as better acceleration and overall handling from the new V8.
