Exclusive: first spyshots new Porsche 911 (998) Targa
Wednesday March 24 2010 - Hans
Porsche has started testing the upcoming 911 Targa at their home test rack near Stuttgart and our photographer was lucky to get a glimpse of the car with the roof open!
The car should be revealed at a major motor show some time early next year and start selling thereafter. As previously stated it features an adjustable rear wing, which is covered by the camouflage canopy, attached to the body and LED daytime running lights.
Turbo S Targa
Porsche recently announced the 3.8-litre powered top-of-the-range 911 Turbo S Cabriolet worth 530 hp and we just want to believe this engine will make it into a Turbo S Targa as well. It is mated to a 7-speed PDK transmission and can go from 0 – 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. The new version should produce similar or even better figures.
