We find this restyling to come very early, considering the current model is on the market since two years only – but anyway, our shots clearly prove that Ford is hard working on a makeover of their largest saloon on the European market.
Disguise
The disguise of the prototype suggests that the facelift will modify the front of the car only and that the rear bumper and tail lights might be left untouched. We reckon that interior and engines won’t be changed either which would result in an engine line-up from 1.6- to 2.5-litre petrol units delivering between 110 and 225 bhp, plus direct-injection turbodiesels with 2.0 (115 and 140 bhp) and 2.2 litres (175 bhp).
