Finally we got a better view on the upcoming new Porsche 911, better known as 998. The car was spotted at a gasstation in Northern Sweden were our photographer got the possibility to make good and detailled spyshots.
The first spyshots of the new 911 reached us a year ago. A very good camouflaged prototype was equiped with stylingdetails from the current 911 Turbo to mislead us. But we were for sure, it was some sort of mule for the upcoming 998. And yes, it was. In the last months we saw the new 911 many times. On the Nürburgring, in Sweden, in the Death Valley and even in South-Africa. But all the prototypes were very well camouflaged. Until now!
These are the very first spyshots of a less camouflaged 911 prototype. For the first time allows us to see the headlights of the production model and we can clearly see some LED-daytime runninglights. It's also the first time we can see a glimp of the new rearlights. They look pretty much the same as on the current 911. Let's hope Porsche will soon reveal something more!
