These are the first winter shots of the facelift of the Mercedes Viano. We didn´t expect the car to arrive in Scandinavia again because we thought it´s unveiling was planned for the IAA in Frankfurt, last september.
Apparently Mercedes didn't want to share the attention to it's facelifted Viano with the, also new, Volkswagen Transporter and Multivan. So it looks like the unveiling of the facelifted Viano is planned for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Changes
Equipped with a new bumper at front as well as new headlights, the main competitor to the Volkswagen Multivan will have to do another few years before the next generation V-class arrives in 2012. No information has leaked yet whether or not the car will receive an engine update, but we reckon the cabin is going to be refreshed to bring it in line with the rest of Mercedes’ model range.
