The BMW 6-Series Convertible has lost some camouflage making it easier to see that the new generation has inherits a lot of design traits of the 5-Series and 7-Series. Unlike the current generation BMW clearly plays it safe.
The design of the current 6-series is classified as controversial and BMW is not waiting for a repeat so it plays it safe with the new 6. The lines of the next generation are much softer and therefore more accessible. Yet it's neat from BMW that the 6-Series (Convertible) is strongly reminiscent of the current model. End of 2011, the new BMW 6 Series Coupe and Cabrio are proposed.
