With the new 3-Series Sedan introduced now BMW can focus on the other variants in the future lineup. There will be a station (Touring), a coupe and convertible (later called 4-series) and a sort of crossover hatchback called 3-Series GT. This model we see here.
Based on the success of the 5-Series GT BMW sees the 3-series GT also a money-maker. However, it seems the Munich manufacturer have listened to the opinions of the public about the looks of the 5-GT. Despite the psychedelic camouflage the back of the 3-series GT is more elegant stylized. The practical side was therefore not lost, because that is precisely the added value of the model.
Early 2013 Likely BMW will launch de 3-Serie GT before the Touring variant, the samesequenceasthe 5-series. Expect thecrossovermodelso at theend2012/begin2013. Engines are very similar to the 3-Series Sedan. Just maybe, as with the 5-Series GT, only with the most powerful variants.
