A few weeks after it was revealed by the European patent office, the Audi RS5 Cabrio has been spied for the first time undergoing testing near the Nürburgring.
The prototype has an aggressive front fascia and LED-infused headlights. Out back, there's an S5 rear end but the production model will adopt a sportier bumper and a massive dual exhaust system. Like the facelifted coupe, power will be provided by a 4.2-liter V8 engine with 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a seven-speed S tronic transmission which should enable the convertible to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds.
